All eyes are on Prashanth Neel as the filmmaker has two mega projects, KGF 2 starring Rocking Star Yash and Salaar with Prabhas, in his kitty. Both KGF 2 and Salaar had come to a halt after the 2nd wave of coronavirus gripped the entire nation. However, Prashanth continues to be excited despite facing multiple roadblocks and promises to use the delay in the best way possible.
There's no denying that KGF 2 has been one of the most anticipated movies since 2020. The first teaser trailer of KGF 2 was released on Yash's birthday. The video showed Yash making a stunning entrance by blowing up a row of automobiles with a machine gun and lighting a cigarette with the barrel of the red-hot gun. The scene became an instant hit among the fans who made it viral on social media by sharing screenshots of it.
Talking about the delay in the release of KGF 2, Prashant told Cinema Express, "The time that we have is not the time we desired, but we have it, and we are making the best use of it. I cannot change the story. However, whatever we have, we are working out to bring the best, and our post-production work is in full swing." He added that "KGF Chapter 2 will be fresh, at any point of release" because of its universal storyline. The movie brings back Kannada superstar Yash as the gangster Rocky, and has already created a lot of buzz. The sequel to 2018 blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1 stars Yash with Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon in prominent roles.
The filmmaker then went on to give a major update on Prabhas' Salaar saying that he is gearing up to resume the shoot of the film. "I even got time to write some scripts. We are doing a handful of projects with Hombale Films and discussions are on," he added.
Prabhas had earlier announced that his much awaited film Salaar will hit theatres on April 14, 2022. The film, which is set to present Prabhas in a never-seen-before violent, dark shade, also stars actress Shruti Haasan. The film's mahurat took place here in January this year.
