Bollywood actress, Karisma Kapoor, who is fondly called as Lolo by her fans and closed ones, is celebrating her 46th birthday today. The star dominated the 90s era and her pairing with Govinda and Salman Khan was audience's all-time favourite. While it's been while we have seen the gorgeous girl on the silver screen, we are sharing an old video of the actress, which Karisma had shared herself on Instagram. The dance clip is from Dil To Pagal Hai, in which she portrayed the character of a dancer. While we can see the Raja Hindustani star grooving like a boss, if you will watch the video carefully, you will find Shahid Kapoor in the background, just like you spotted him behind Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Subhash Ghai's Taal.
Directed by Yash Chopra, Dil To Pagal Hai featured Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit in lead roles with a cameo of Akshay Kumar. While Karisma bagged National and Filmfare Best Supporting actress, you will be surprised to know that before Lolo, the role was offered to Manisha Koirala, Juhi Chawla, Kajol and Urmila Matondkar and all of them rejected it.
In fact, even Karisma was in two minds for this character, but later agreed to do the film. She told Humans of Bombay, "I can't let one roadblock affect it. Even on the bad days I had to keep my head held high. So even when I was offered 'Dil To Pagal Hai', when no actress wanted to be cast against Madhuri Dixit. I didn't want to shy away because 'I thought I couldn't do it'. I did the film & even won a National Award for it."
