The trailer of Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, which released a day ago, has made all the right noises for a horror film. Viewers have found the premise intriguing and the trailer showcases enough of chills and thrills to pique interest in the actual film. Plus, Vicky Kaushal is coming off an all-time blockbuster with Uri: The Surgical Strike, which only raises excitement for the film as does his paring with Bhumi Pednekar, who herself has had a pretty happening 2019 on screen. Basically, the Bhoot trailer has done what a trailer needs to do.
However, no trailer these days can be saved from online memes, with Twitterati finding meme fodder from dialogues and scenes the likes of you and me (well, definitely me) would've never imagined. This time, it's Vicky Kaushal's "Yeh tumhara hallucination hai" dialogue, which has become the butt of all jokes on Twitter, with memers using the line to poke fun at everything from UPSC exams to office HRs to working Mondays. Is Bhoot based on a real ghost ship?
Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, and also features Ashutosh Rana in an important role. The film, produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, is based on a real incident that happened on Mumbai's Juhu beach, and is slated to release on 21st February 2020.
